Meet Luis: A personable, problem-solving property manager.

Luis joined us in 2019 as property manager of Wide Plank Properties, the property management division of Signal Works.
With extensive experience in tenant placement and leasing, short term rentals, managing multi-family rehabs, and construction management, he’s a great addition to our team. He’s even spent time in social media marketing and content creation. But what makes him perfect for Signal Works is that he loves to serve others and is a great communicator.
If you ever pick a Wide Plank Property to live in, you’ll be interacting with Luis with any questions you might have and when you’re ready to sign a lease. He also coordinates contractors and manages any property projects we have going on.
We caught up with Luis and asked him his thoughts on place and purpose.
Do you have a favorite place where you feel you are at your best?
I’m a people person and love entertaining and serving others. I’m at my best when I can interact with people in a social setting or can offer a helping hand in their day-to-day lives.
How do you see property management providing lasting impact in people’s lives?
I see property management as an opportunity to practically serve others in the place they spend the most time in, outside of work — their home.
Anyone can make sure rent is paid on time, maintenance requests are handled and vacant units get leased. But being personable, understanding, and kind impacts people’s lives long after they are no longer tenants.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
I enjoy solving problems for buildings and executing valuable, long-term solutions for both the owner and the tenants.
Thanks for your time Luis!
